Director, Steve Roenker

Steve Roenker, co-founder and director of My Nose Turns Red Theatre Company, has over 25 years experience as a performer and arts educator, and is a Kentucky Arts Council roster artist. Steve currently tours his one man show, The Trickster Tales, featuring tales and characters from different cultures - "Arlecchino"  (Harlequin) from Renaissance Europe, "Anansi the Spider" from West Africa and "Coyote" from the Plains Indians.

Although he loves to tour, and conduct residencies and workshops, Steve’s primary focus is the development of the Youth Circus, a community circus for and by area youth, their families, and their community.
