Giving Tuesday - My Nose Turns Red

We created this fundraiser to support the amazing work My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus does for youth. Circus students learn how to balance objects, ride unicycles, and roll in the German Wheel while building trust and learning how to collaborate and present together!

Hopefully, you have seen them this summer presenting their work during the Circus in the Parks program in a park or at the Taft Museum, or at the Cincinnati Art Museum, or riding their unicycles in the BLINK Parade. Their dedication to trying amazing new skills and presenting them to audiences creates hope and joy for a bright future. They will take that experience throughout their lives, knowing that trust and collaboration are possible.

We believe that all youth need creative and physical activities to thrive, and we strive to make youth circus accessible for all through classes, workshops, and performances. During the pandemic, all of our performances were virtual. This year we have been able to provide in-person classes, summer camps, and ten free Circus in the Parks performances, allowing audiences to see diverse circus students share their talents, determination, and teamwork.

New Monthly Match from Meta

Our Giving Tuesday campaign will run on social media through our Facebook page. Facebook (Meta) has a new feature this year. When you sign up for a monthly donation, Facebook will match it 100% (up to $100) per donation on the second monthly donation until their funds run out ($7 million). You need to sign up to donate on your Facebook page between November 15 – December 31, 2022. They have made a shift because they want to help organizations “sustain the support beyond the holidays.”

Monthly donations help sustain My Nose Turns Red throughout the year.
